The best TH8 attack strategies |
We're going to cover the top five 3-star attack strategies in Town Hall 8. For those of you who are relatively new to Town Hall 8, I'll do my best to slow down a bit and explain the process involved.

When it comes to deploying these armies. I am fully aware that each and every one of these armies are probably very, very expensive, but they are three-star armies, which means they are used for clan wars or trophies, and if you use them for trophies, you can get the money back. dark elixir used when doing your push. Well, another thing I did for you guys is I didn't use Clan Castle Troops because I understand that many of you are in small clans and can't get Clan Castle Troops.

So let's start this post off with one of my favorite three-star attack strategies in Town Hall 8, the Golems, Valkyries, Hog Riders, and Mages. This army works whenever you understand how to place the troops. I promise you why I did it every time.
Well, one thing you need to make sure is to zoom in as much as possible for each of these attacks, and I'm not talking about looking around the city here, don't worry about what's going on here. . Get completely out of the way and make sure you spot these builder huts because they will cost you, use an archer or minion to destroy these builder huts. So you don't waste time.
Rule number two: treat every Klanburg like there's something in it. In this event we have a kite and a balloon for defense. Now that we're using two golems, we don't need to do the so-called clan castle decoy. Let's use our golems to block the defenses and go after those golems with some launchers. We will not use all wheels in one area. Let's distribute them to make sure they destroy multiple buildings. Let's go with the barbarian king and when you see that you have a dragon and a balloon, put the poison spell. Don't be afraid, it's okay. You can slay that dragon, I guarantee it.
Place the poison spell, follow it with some wall switches to open the compartment, then place your valkyries to go to the village, once the valkyries are placed they will move to the base. You will place your rage spell. You'll find this dragon chasing the golem and trying to kill it. The mages are hunting the dragon and are going to kill it, once the dragon is gone you can fight the pig riders.
You'll notice I haven't put my montapuercos on yet. Let's keep them uptown or downtown. The fact is, we're going down here targeting all defenses. The pigs move towards the archer's turret and cannon and continue to move in a semicircle or counterclockwise. We will use our healing spell to keep our knights alive in dense places. In this situation we work with a mortar and an aerial sweeper and once they pass through this area we can start to position our minions and our remaining archers to start destroying buildings behind these pig riders.
Our final healing spell has been placed and they will clear the way for the final defenses, heading to the mage tower and air defenses. Once all the defenses are gone, the knights will start attacking other buildings like resource collectors and military camps, and that's basically the attack. If you follow these steps every time, you shouldn't have any problems with this army. I'm telling you, no problem, but you must get rid of those clan castle troops.
Now, if I were to request clan castle troops for my offense, I would request Runners or Valkyries. The spell of choice would summon a poison so we could have a little more power behind that poison to wipe out the enemy clan castle troops, but we can go ahead and speed this up so you can see the army for yourself. In raid number 2 it looks like we have a huge army of pig riders because the really fun thing about town hall 8 is that if you clear out everything in the clan castle you can wipe out the whole village with just pigs. knights like you. could do at City Hall 7.
So what we're going to do here is use a clan castle decoy since we don't have any golems in our army. You will find that you can identify buildings or defenses within range of the Clan Castle by clicking on the Clan Castle in Explorer mode. We will place two pig riders to lure troops from the clan castle.
Now you can use Pekka or the Barbarian King to take troops out of the village, which is what I usually do. I use Barbarian King for his skill, which is why we are going to allow these balloons to hit our king. Drop the poison spell and back him up with some casters and then we'll use his ability to have him try to get out of there. This gives the mages enough time to clear the clan castle troops.
We're going to go with a Pekka and mages to clear out additional buildings, and then go ahead and unleash our pig riders to basically wipe out the entire base. As if we had three healing spells to cover various parts of this city.
Well, one thing we have to worry about with this army is the fact that you have feather traps to deal with and as our knights go from defense to defense they will encounter feather traps and you have to worry about that. because if they're walking, they'll go to the next compartment over here, where we have a mortar. You'll find another feather trap and this could end up reducing your army by a lot, a lot. You'll find they've found another one, so that's just one of the things to worry about when it comes to this army, but it's very, very effective.
We'll go ahead and streamline it for you. This way you can see the end result as it is very, very similar to the previous attack. The only difference between this army and the previous one is that we didn't have golems involved, so we had to run the Clan Castle Decoy to eliminate the enemy troops from the Clan Castle, but the Hog Riders did that and were successful in mopping it up. the defenses. Then they will move to other buildings like clan castle, town hall and finish that.
Now, if I requested Clan Castle Troops for this particular army, I would probably request more Runners, because these high ranking Pigs would crush an 8 Town Hall like nothing. So at this point, you can see for yourself that the Hog Troop here at Town Hall 8 is very effective.

We have a golem, a few mages, and about 25 pig riders. So we're going to do something very similar to the previous raids, or actually the first raid, where we're going to use our golem and our barbarian king to control the clan castle troops and make sure there's nothing left on them because we have to make sure that we are looking for that dragon. The dragon will destroy your Hog Rider almost every time or a Valkyrie.
If there's a valkyrie there to defend you, you're in trouble, I'm not even playing the game. So we have this golem slot, we have the barbarian slot. We use our wallbreakers to open the compartments for our mages and everything will move inside the city. Well, one of the interesting things about this type of army is that you eliminate enemy troops or traps like skeleton traps.
These skeletal traps against Hog Riders are as annoying as they are a major nuisance.
But we'll do the exact same thing with the rage spell to clear several buildings in the upper part of the city and then our pig riders will jump through the city and we'll use the healing spell again to keep them alive. Most important in areas where there are bomb turrets and mage turrets or large bomb sites because they weaken your pig knights and kill them very quickly.
Well, bases like this one, where we have very tight buildings like this one. This is perfect for pig riders because you don't have to worry about losing them as often compared to feather traps, so we have a barbarian king fighting our golem, which pretty much stopped him from taking out our pig riders and you'll find that all defense mechanics are gone. This is another army that is absolutely phenomenal to use.
Now with this army if he requested troops from the clan castle. You can bring more pig riders, you can choose to bring a pekka. If you want it, it really doesn't matter. It basically depends on personal preference, but there is an army number three. In order!

Let's play offense number four live. We have the Golem Pekkas Wizards Hog Riders on the back of the Gowipe. So remember step number one, move completely out of the way and make sure there are no construction shacks here. Therefore, we treat it as if there is something in the clan castle.
Let's go ahead and take down a golem to block the defenses, drop some spellcasters to back them up and take down our king on the other side, then move on with some Pekkas. We want to try to go directly to the Clan Castle location, so that's what we're going to do. Go ahead and drop a wallbreaker to scout and there go some clan castle troops. As expected, let's get our poison spell.
Let's go ahead and cast our rage spell here. Let's go ahead and add some more wheels to help with the high-level balloons. Use this king's skill to get them away from the balloons while the wheels are turning and when the balloons run out.
Let's start working on some pig riders. Here we go, we're looking pretty good. The balloons are gone, the Pekkas are working there with the Golem, and our Runners are working on the flank and getting into some huge bomb sites.
Let's put a healing spell on that mortar and they'll keep working on that defense line. Looks like we split up our knights and cast a healing spell at the bomb tower location and go ahead and start throwing in some archers on the side of the village and a mage here.
Looks like the pigs are working really well. We have some pekkas that are still very much alive and our pigs will be working on an air purifier on the opposite side of the village. They're going to track the archer turret and then we have a cannon and a wizard turret so it looks like our pigs have gotten a little thin, that's one of the things about this army that I personally don't like these high level pekkas. they must have been diluted in the pigs.
So you have a lot less pigs than other armies, but you'll find yourself going through the same steps I showed you at the beginning of the post with the Golem spell, mages, and poison.
This rage spell to enable those mages and that king to flee from there and make those troops follow that king should almost always succeed on the enemy clan's castle troops. So this guy has some high level balloons and we managed to mine them.
We have a lot of troops to complete this for all three stars and it looks like we have some buildings there so we have some pigs going through town. The only thing we really have to worry about here would be a spring trap to get one of those pigs off the map, but I think we should be good here come our archers and pitchers and they can successfully 3 stars in this town with some of the remaining time.
So if I were to request clan castle troops for this, I would try to get a high-level Pekka.
Zap Drache
And for our final army, we have Dragons and Lightning Spells. This is pretty obvious, many players in Town Hall 8 prefer dragons over anything else because it's really, really easy to use.
Now with this army I recommend you request clan castle troops from your clanmates because you need to have that extra flash spell. Not all bases are built like this, so it takes four of the tier five lightning spells to clear an air defense. You can only have seven spells. So if you don't have air defenses coming, you can't eliminate multiple air defenses, and you also need the Clan Castle Balloons to help this army.
You'll find that we used four lightning spells and the last three to nerf the final air defense and then we went in with our dragons to basically make a funnel, so we put this one on the left page. We put two on the right side because one of the dragons will be distracted by this king and then we are going to leave our barbarian king to try to help the dragons a little by taking down some extra buildings and then our dragons will work in the village.
Now, this is a slower army, so most of you should know how to use dragons, because when it comes down to this situation, with this eighth lightning spell, you can eliminate all three air defenses and wipe out this city very easily. .
Well, clan castle troops, you really don't have to worry about anything other than a high level dragon. You know if they were ground forces you wouldn't have to worry unless the barbarian king came within range of the clan castle and this is a very user friendly army.
So the last army for you, just to point a little bit about the clan castle troops, I would request high level balloons and a high level lightning spell for this army. If you can get one that will help this army tremendously and make things a lot easier here at Town Hall 8, but overall I think that's the end of us for today folks.
Those are the top 5 three-star attack strategies for Town Hall 8. Unfortunately, here at Town Hall there really isn't much for us to cover because it's actually a very fast level to advance. If I went back and rebuilt Town Hall 8, it would take about 30 days to reach the maximum.
